Beck Martin has revealed how heartbreak helped him pen his hit X Factor song Friday Night.
The 28 year-old is a gym instructor and manager in a fast food restaurant from Swanley, although originally hails from the Czech Republic, and sang for the judges last weekend.
"I have goals and dreams and I am chasing them," he said in Saturday night's show.
After bonding with Simon Cowell over "fish burgers", Beck introduced his very own original song called Friday Night.
"It's about Friday night," he enlightened the panel.
Complete with a smoke machine, Beck put on quite the performance and Nicole Scherzinger wasn't afraid to join in as she jumped on top of the desk to dance along to what is sure to be the next big club hit.
And while Simon said no, Beck still made bootcamp with yeses from the other three judges.
Now Beck has revealed just what the lyrics mean and they're deeper than we expected.
"It all started when I moved to the UK," he told ITV's This Morning in the week, "I fell in love with one girl and her blue eyes.
"We had a crew event and I asked her if she was coming and she said, 'No.'
"There was another guy who asked if I could swap shifts with him, so I was like, 'Ok, I will do it.'"
He went on: "Later, I saw them out together at the store and I felt like, 'What would have happened if I didn't swap shifts?'
"Then I was sitting at home one day so I started writing the lyrics and I heard the beat to Friday night."
Beck has already put the song up for download or streaming if you're a big fan.
The X Factor 2016 airs this Saturday night with the final auditions before a bumper bootcamp special on Sunday from 7:30PM.
