There's good news for Simon Cowell as The X Factor ratings hit a two-year high.
Official figures now out for last Saturday night's audition episode saw the show add on almost 2 million extra viewers.
8.3 million watched the episode overnight compared to the total audience of 10.1 million viewers once catch up figures are included.
It suggests that a lot more people are choosing to record the show rather than watch it live compared to previous years.
By comparison, Strictly Come Dancing added almost half as many extra viewers in the official ratings, climbing from its overnight figure of 9.3 million to 10.4 million.
It was Strictly's most watched launch show and the first time it broke the 10 million barrier.
But the numbers show that, including catch up numbers, The X Factor's closing the gap on Strictly's viewing figures.
Meanwhile, in the overnight ratings yesterday evening's latest show was watched by 7.2 million viewers, down slightly on last week but inline with last year's figure for the equivalent episode.
Elsewhere, Victoria continued ahead of Poldark with the ITV series putting in 5.1 million viewers compared to the BBC audience of 4.8 million.
