The Brooks make a comeback in front of The X Factor 2016 judges on tonight's auditions.

Identical twins Josh and Kyle make up The Brooks who first appeared on The X Factor two years ago.

"We auditioned for the show when we were 15 back in 2014 and got to Louis Walsh's judges' houses in Bermuda," the guys explain. "When we didn't get through we were gutted.

"We can totally understand where Louis was coming from [when he said we needed more time] and there's a huge improvement from those two 15-year-old boys, we're glad to be back... fingers crossed."

In the judges' room the pair tell the panel: "We've been working hard, gigging, building confidence. We've got unfinished business."

With a point to prove, The Brooks go on to sing Naughty Boy and Beyonce's Runnin' and seem to have Louis won over this time.

"Much, much better guys," he says. "I remember [at judges' houses in 2014] the vocal wasn't just enough and I was on the fence, I'm off the fence tonight, that was really, really good, I'm really glad you came back."

"I think you guys are so adorable and you've actually got something to work with," commented Nicole Scherzinger on seeing the pair for the first time.

Simon Cowell is more critical: "I'm not going to lie... you've still got a lot of work to do, you've got to develop your own sound, sometimes less is more.

Will The Brooks get through to bootcamp?

Watch their performance for the judges and find out if they say yes when The X Factor 2016 auditions continue Sunday night at 8PM on ITV.
