The mystery girl who dumped X Factor hopeful Matt Henry has supposedly been revealed.
23-year-old Matt revealed to the judges during Sunday night's auditions that was a waiter but had to quit his job after an upsetting break up.
In fact, Matt was dumped just before his birthday three years into the relationship.
"Music is my passion, it's the dream come true, it's what I'm here for," he said. "I'm going to go for it with everything I have."
After impressing the judges with a cover of Stand By Me, Matt flirted with Nicole Scherzinger before being compared to Olly Murs by Simon Cowell.
Now The Sun reports that the mystery girl who dumped Matt is a performing acts student called Jasmine, nicknamed ‘Jazz’.
The pair studied together at the D&B Academy of Performing Arts, currently the focus of E4's new reality show Stage School.
“Jazz and Matt were in a really serious relationship," a supposed friend revealed. “They went on a few romantic holidays together and their two families spent a lot of time with each other.
"Jasmine’s brutal decision to dump Matt just two days before his birthday came as a real shock to him as well as to all their family and friends."
According to the newspaper, Jazz's family are fully supporting Matt on the show with the tabloid reporting: "Her mother has even been willing him on via her page on Facebook."
The friend added: "Jazz finds the whole thing very awkward.”
The X Factor continues this Saturday night on ITV with the latest round of auditions.
