Call centre worker Ryan Wilkins has won a spot at The X Factor 2016 Bootcamp with his own take on Rihanna hit We Found L-L-L-L-Love.

The 27-year-old from Manchester currently makes a living handling PPI claims - but says he's fantasized about winning the ITV talent contest for "ten plus years".

"The dream is to be singing in arenas, going on tour, the albums..." he said.

Performing 'We Found Love', Ryan instantly took the judges by surprised with his powerful voice - with Louis Walsh appearing particularly taken aback.

He then injected his own flair in to the smash hit by adding a few l-l-l-l-las at the end.

"I've got to tell you Ryan, you've got a magic tongue haven't you!" Simon Cowell exclaimed. "Louis, you were sitting there transfixed!"

"I couldn't believe it Ryan! You gave us 100%!" the Irishman said.

"I think you're quite fabulous!" added Sharon Osbourne. "You started off really great, and you kind of lost key towards the end, but you redeemed yourself with the ending."

"You got a bit over-excited and then you kind of forgot you're supposed to be singing in tune," Simon agreed. "I like the idea of someone like you, a bit of a male diva who can do these big club songs."

Meanwhile, Nicole Scherzinger called Ryan "shamazing" and said: "I love your eyebrows!"

With four yesses, we'll be seeing Ryan again when Bootcamp starts in a few weeks' time.

The X Factor airs on Saturdays and Sundays on ITV.
