Bradley Hunt and Ottavio Columbro have made it through to The X Factor 2016 but boy was it far from straight forward.
The pair had originally planned to audition together but had an argument before their performance over raw chicken of all things.
They instead auditioned separately and 24 year-old fashion PR student from Southampton Ottavio was the first to face the judges.
"Think of it like this, you've got Cher, you've got Prince,... Ottavio," he declared. "I was in a group with Bradley, today is the first time since I've seen Bradley [since splitting] and it's been as awkward as hell.
"I just want to show people, I am different but I own it."
Telling the judges that his outrageous outfit was inspired by a Kinder Egg, Ottavio performed for the judges before Bradley has his shot.
Reflecting on the argument with Ottavio over chicken, 23 year-old restaurant manager Bradley complained: "He didn't even say thanks though. I tried."
After singing R. Kelly's Ignition, Bradley is asked by the judges to reunite with Ottavio and audition together.
They went on to sing Pussycat Dolls' Buttons, saying to Nicole: "It's an honour to sing Pussycat Dolls in front of you."
"I like you two but you weren't great individually, I actually think you're worse together," concluded Simon Cowell.
However the other three judges disagreed.
"I liked it, they've got something," said Louis Walsh.
And Nicole added: "I think you guys are better together."
The X Factor 2016 auditions return Sunday night at 8PM on ITV.
And don't forget all new Xtra Factor LIVE which airs straight after on ITV2, hosted by Rylan Clark-Neal and Matt Edmondson.
