Simon Cowell has admitted he was wrong to send Janet Grogan hope from The X Factor back in 2014.
In tonight's show, Janet returned to storm the auditions.
Janet is a 28 year-old lifeguard from Dublin, Ireland and got as far as Simon’s Six Chair Challenge two years ago in the Overs category.
Following the show airing, Simon admitted in a tweet at the time: "I should have kept Janet. My mistake."
"It was devastating I feel like I let my family down," recalled Janet of the rejection in tonight's show. "After I went home, I wasn't singing any more, that was it, but then Simon sent out a tweet. At first I was mad, but then it's not every day Simon Cowell admits he made a mistake.
"I hope I can go all the way this time."
As Janet introduced herself to the panel, Simon said: "I can admit my mistakes and I always hoped you'd walk back into the audition room."
After singing Zayn Malik's Pillowtalk, Janet left Simon in no doubt he should have kept her back in 2014.
Louis Walsh remarked: "I know you're a great singer ad I really think Simon made a mistake.
Sharon Osbourne said: "You're a really strong singer with a really distinctive sound."
Nicole Scherzinger commented: "I'm so happy you came back, I love your voice, I just dig you.
"At least I can admit to my mistakes," Simon Cowell declared. "You're more confident you're voice is stunning, I'm excited, you're the best we've had all day."
With four big yeses from the judges, Janet is through to bootcamp once again.
The X Factor 2016 auditions return Sunday night at 8PM on ITV.
And don't forget all new Xtra Factor LIVE which airs straight after on ITV2, hosted by Rylan Clark-Neal and Matt Edmondson.
