Simon Cowell came face-to-face with his doppleganger on The X Factor 2016 auditions tonight, in the form of Glaswegian singer Eddie Lee.
Eddie walked in to the judges' room at the Edinburgh try-outs and was instantly praised as "handsome" by Simon. "Thank you, I get mistaken for you all the time!" he responded.
The single 51-year-old added that it's "good for the girls", with Simon exclaiming: "So since I’ve been around your love life’s got better? That’s why I do this!"
Eddie wasn't done there, as he had a present for the media mogul - a talking bobblehead doll that utters some of his memorable quotes.
"I love that, I have 5,000 of these in storage!" joked Simon.
It was then down to business, as Eddie performed Elvis hit 'Can't Help Falling in Love' for the judges - minus Sharon Osbourne, who was away in America.
"You’ve kicked it off right for us today! I love your energy, you actually have a voice Edward!" said Nicole Scherzinger.
"I enjoyed it because I love Tom Jones, I can see you’ve had a big influence from Tom Jones and Elvis," added Louis. "Your voice is good."
Simon, meanwhile, was utterly mesmerised. "I can’t get over how handsome you are!" he grinned. "You’re so good-looking! Is it wrong that I find you attractive?"
Eddie left the venue with three yesses and a place at Bootcamp, while Simon kissed and stroked his new toy bobblehead.
The X Factor continues next Saturday at 8.15pm on ITV.
