James Hughes shocked the panel on The X Factor 2016 with an incredible voice.
The 17-year-old who come from a town near Glasgow surprised the judges with his performance.
"I started singing when I was 11, doing school shows and I love it, it's great," said James, who named his parents as being his biggest supporters, before the audition.
The teenager joked to host Dermot O'Leary that he's brought "half the community" of his small Scottish town to cheer him on at the try outs.
"I've always wanted to come on to The X Factor," James told the cameras. "I'm quite nervous about the audition room. When I walk into that room today I'm just going to give it all I've got."
After transforming from a timid to teen to a vocal powerhouse singing Etta James's I’d Rather Go Blind, James won over the judges.
"You walk in and you could hardly talk and then this thing comes out of you," reacted Simon Cowell. "You need a little bit of work but what you did there at your age is incredible."
"It's like a soul women live inside of you," commented Nicole Scherzinger.
"You're a baby diva already!" added Louis Walsh.
With a full set of yeses, James sailed through to bootcamp.
The X Factor 2016 auditions continue next Saturday and Sunday night on ITV.
