Emily Middlemas made a triumphant return to The X Factor tonight, sailing through to bootcamp.
"I auditioned for X Factor two years ago and I was 15 years old so I was very young," said the now 17-year-old from Glasgow.
Despite being only 15 at the time, Emily made it all the way to judges' houses in Cheryl's category but was sent home and told she was "not ready" by the former judge.
Emily recalled: "At the time I was devastated but I got to know it was okay and I was a little bit too young."
Now back for a second shot, she added: "If I didn't get through the first audition today I'd be absolutely heartbroken, I'm just really, really hoping for the best."
"I went away, I've been rehearsing, practising and I'm ready for this," the talented teenager confidently declared ahead of her audition on the show tonight.
After a perfect cover of Stevie Wonder's Master Blaster, Emily left Nicole Scherzinger VERY impressed.
She said: "I didn't get to meet you two years go because Simon wouldn't have me back, but I'm enchanted by you, you mesmerise me, you're a little find."
Louis Walsh added: "I love your attitude, you're 17, you got a knock back, you're back and fighting."
Simon Cowell concluded: "It takes guts to come back when you've got that close. I think I'm beginning to know who Emily is and I liked you more. I like the fact I can hear that Scottish lilt in your vocal, that's why you've got three yeses."
With a full set of yeses, Emily sailed through to bootcamp for the second time.
The X Factor 2016 auditions continue next Saturday and Sunday night on ITV.
