If you're itching to know just when The X Factor 2016 starts on TV then wonder no longer, as the XFactor UK start date has just been confirmed.
It's been speculated about for a while but now we know and it's 100% official: Series 13 of The X Factor will kick off on Saturday, August 27 on ITV.
The first bumper long audition episode will air from 8PM on Saturday, August 29 and the show will continue at the same time on SUNDAY, August 28
It'll see the return of Simon Cowell alongside 'new' judges Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Nick Grimshaw.
Meanwhile Dermot O'Leary is back as host of the main show while it's even change on the Xtra Factor too as Melvin Odoom and Rochelle Humes are replaced by Matt Edmondson and Rylan Clark-Neal with a brand new live format.
The double audition format has gone with the arena rooms axed completely this time as this year wannabes back to performing for the judges in the more inmate judges' rooms.
From there it'll be straight to bootcamp before the return of the six chair challenge in front of a live audience at Wembley Arena.
Also this year, for only the third series in a row, The X Factor UK will air on US telly.
The series will be broadcast on AXS TV just one day after each episode, with the premiere airing on Sunday, August 28.
All episodes will be shown, from the pre-recorded auditions and bootcamp stages through to the live shows later on in the autumn.
