Nicole Scherzinger has reportedly found 'the new Rylan Clark' on The X Factor 2016.
Rylan proved a hit on the 2012 series and of course had THAT famous break down on Nicole's couch at judges' houses when he made the live shows.
While he's gone down in history as an X Factor legend, Rylan may be about to get a rival.
According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, one auditionee on this year's series is being dubbed 'the new Rylan' and has won Nicole over.
A source explained to the tabloid: “Prince came all the way from LA to audition. He danced almost as much as he sang but it was his personality that won the crowd, and particularly Nicole, over.
“He is black, a great dancer and has a big personality as well as a very snappy dress sense. She’s been telling everyone he’s a total diva who will be top entertainment – she’s desperate to mentor Prince."
The insider added: "Sharon, on the other hand, wasn’t convinced at all.”
Whether or not Prince does well on the show remains to be seen but even if he does make the finals, he's got a long way to go to match Rylan.
The 'novelty act' has gone from Saturday night singer to a top TV presenter and this week was announced as the new co-host of the Xtra Factor alongside Matt Edmondson.
Rylan said: “After four years of doing my thing it’s finally time for me to go back to where it all began.
“I’m thrilled to be part of The X Factor once again and even more excited at the thought of knowing I won’t be in the bottom two each week.”
The X Factor and Xtra Factor will be back on ITV and ITV2 respectively later this year.
