The X Factor 2016 bosses HAVEN'T yet decided whether Matt Edmondson will be the only presenter on The Xtra Factor, it's been revealed.
Earlier this week it was announced that the ITV2 spin-off show is undergoing a huge format change this year, airing LIVE every week - even during the pre-recorded auditions stages - with Matt replacing Melvin Odoom and Rochelle Humes at the helm.
However, it turns out that Matt may not be the only person fronting Xtra when it returns to our screens in August.
An X Factor spokesperson told Digital Spy earlier this week: "It's still TBC as to whether there might be another host."
The news comes after Rylan Clark-Neal refused to confirm or deny whether he is also joining The Xtra Factor.
When Rylan discussed Matt's new role during his showbiz slot on This Morning earlier this week, Philip Schofield teased him over the rumours, saying: "I have a feeling that there are more legs on this story. I have a feeling there are quite long legs on this story."
"I think there might be a bit of a double action going on," added Holly Willoughby.
But rather than clear up the speculation, Rylan moved swiftly on to another story about One Direction.
Meanwhile, Melvin and Rochelle don't seem to be too upset that they've been ditched - as they filmed a mock resignation speech for The Sun, parodying Prime Minister David Cameron's decision to step down after the EU Referendum result.
