Simon Cowell's right-hand woman Sinitta has laid in to Nicole Scherzinger, claiming that she's TOO NICE as an X Factor judge.
This week the 'So Macho' singer revealed that she'd "begged, screamed and cried" in the hope of landing a spot on the ITV show's judging panel - only for Simon to go with Nicole, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne for the new series.
But while Sinitta initially praised the new line-up - saying it "sounds really good" - she has now had a go at Nicole, suggesting the former Pussycat Doll needs to toughen up when giving feedback to bad acts.
"Nicole squirms and doesn’t want to tell people that they are awful," she claimed in a chat with The Sun. "She doesn’t quite understand that anyone can audition and her job is to get rid of the bad and keep the good.
"You see her sitting there just excruciatingly embarrassed trying to say no to people."
However, Sinitta is a fan of Spice Girl Mel B, who returned as a guest judge last week, filling in for an absent Nicole.
"Mel B coming back is the icing on the cake as I think she is just fantastic," she commented. "She made the show when she was on it. She was so straightforward and strong.
"I think she’s fair – there is that English way that she says what she wants."
Auditions for the thirteenth(!) series of The X Factor are currently being filmed, with presenter Dermot O'Leary also back on board this year.
Meanwhile, Sinitta is back on our screens tonight at 8.00pm on BBC One as a contestant on the new series of Celebrity Masterchef.
