Louis Walsh claims Girls Aloud "didn’t even like each other"

Girls Aloud

Louis Walsh has taken aim at Girls Aloud as he prepares to return to The X Factor.

The veteran TV talent show judge was on the panel of Popstars: The Rivals back in 2001 when Girls Aloud were put together.

Louis went on to manage the group although there were problems from the off and the two later parted ways.

Since then there have been many war of words between the girls - including of course former X Factor judge Cheryl - and Louis in the press.

Kicking off another argument, Louis this week hit out at the group and claimed they “didn’t like each other”.

Speaking to BBC Radio 2 , Louis said: “I didn’t give them a lot of my time but they didn’t give me time and they didn’t even like each other!

“It was problems from day one there.”

The Irish music mogul claimed: “I contacted them as much as I could but they didn’t like each other.”

And he added: "It was never going to work because I said Nadine was the best singer and she was. She was the voice of Girls Aloud."

Despite Louis’ complaints, Girls Aloud have proved to be one reality TV’s most successful acts.

They enjoyed more than a decade of hits before finally splitting in 2013 following a farewell tour.
