One Direction's Niall Horan has spoken out about THOSE solo rumours.
The singer was reported to have been ready to release his own album within the year following 1D's hiatus.
It'd make Niall the first of the current line up - which lost Zayn Malik last year - to go his own way in the charts.
Apparently Niall has signed a deal with Simon Cowell's Syco record label but he has played down the speculation this week.
Speaking while practising for Soccer Aid 2016, Niall said: "It's been good to do my own thing.
"Not having a schedule to think about and being able to get up when ever you want."
He revealed: "For the first few weeks it was weird. Then I just got used to it.
"I've been in the studio writing bits and pieces."
But Niall suggested talk of a solo album was premature.
"It's for nothing in particular just trying to keep the brain ticking over a little bit," he explained."It's just for fun at the moment."
Niall added to the Daily Star newspaper: "I've made relationships with different writers up and down the years so I'm putting them into action now."
