Louis Walsh has taken a swipe at Cheryl and Nick Grimshaw as he replaces them on The X Factor this year.
Yesterday the Irish music mogul was confirmed as returning to the show this series after Cheryl, Nick and Rita Ora all quit the series earlier this year.
Louis will join Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger on the panel of 'X Factor favourites'.
Talking about his comeback yesterday, Louis said: “He’d say otherwise but I knew Simon missed me last year!
"I’m delighted to be back on the panel especially beside my two favourite female judges Sharon and Nicole, and I’m looking forward to taking them all back to Dublin this year when we head there for auditions.”
Speaking to Gogglebox stars Steph and Dom - who now have their own chat show on Channel 4 - Louis took aim at Cheryl and Nick.
Igniting yet another war of words with Cheryl, Louis said: “She’s very ambitious, she’s not there for the music.”
He went on to brand Grimmy "a bad booking" and compared him to a "groupie".
The veteran X Factor judge explained: “He’s a nice enough guy but he’s like a groupie, you only ever see him with famous people.”
Louis added of 2015's judges: "The truth is, nobody on last year’s X Factor panel really got on at all. It just didn’t work."
The brand new X Factor series will hit ITV later this year.
