Nicole Scherzinger has reportedly signed a multi-million pound deal to return to The X Factor.
It would be Nicole's third appearance on the show having previously been a guest judge in 2010 before joining the panel full time in 2012 and 2013.
Nicole's participation has been practically confirmed for weeks now after musical legend Andrew Lloyd-Webber revealed how she had snubbed a Broadway production of Cats to take part in the reality series.
While the former Pussycat Doll still hasn't been officially announced as a judge, The Sun on Sunday newspaper reports this weekend that a deal has been made.
She's set to join Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne - who will also be making her third appearance behind the judges' desk - on the new look panel, which doesn't actually include any 'new' faces at all.
"Simon thinks Nicole is a great asset to the show and is delighted he was able to sign her up, despite the commitments she previously had elsewhere," a source told the tabloid. “He wants this year’s show to go back to its best and she is very much part of that plan.
“Not one of the judges – Nicole, Sharon or Louis – could ever be accused of shying away from an opinion."
According to the insider, the 'new' line up of X Factor judges is expected to be confirmed this week ahead of filming starting in June.
It's not just The X Factor judges that will change this year with hosts Caroline Flack and Olly Murs having been ditched.
The pair will be replaced by former presenter Dermot O'Leary who has already returned to front what will be the thirteenth series.
The X Factor will air on ITV later this year.
