Rylan Clark is being tipped to host the Xtra Factor this year alongside Rochelle Humes.
Which is obviously bad news for Rochelle's current co-host, Melvin Odoom.
There's been plenty of speculation over who will be hosting the Xtra Factor this year with Rochelle and Melvin recently revealing they were being left in the dark.
Earlier this month Rylan was rumoured to be in talks to front the ITV2 spin-off show alongside Laura Whitmore, who recently quit I'm A Celebrity's spin-off show after five years.
"Bosses really want to sign Rylan," a source told Now magazine recently. "He's a seasoned professional, funny, and could make the show come alive.
"He's got a lot going on with 'Big Brother' and his own show, but his friends think he'd be crazy to turn this down - he'd be an amazing asset to the show."
Now The Sun reports that Rylan may simply take over from Melvin with Rochelle staying put.
But with Big Brother on over the summer, Rylan could be forced to skip the auditions which begin filming next month.
A source said: “It could be a situation where Rochelle covers auditions on her own in the way Caroline Flack sometimes did when she was hosting with Olly Murs.”
However a number of other names have also been rumoured, including Westlife's Nicky Byrne and radio DJ Roman Kemp.
A spokesperson for The X Factor said: “No decisions have been taken.”
The new series will air this autumn alongside the main show on ITV.
