Rita Ora may already have her new job lined up just a day after quitting The X Factor.

The singer, who was previously a coach on The Voice UK on BBC One, has been tipped to join Britain's Got Talent.

It comes just 24 hours after Rita confirmed that she wouldn't be back on The X Factor this year.

She tweeted yesterday morning: "I had a ball on @TheXFactor last year and will miss the team."

And in a message to Simon Cowell, Rita added: "Can't wait to work with you again... I'll be round for dinner soon. Thank you for the experience & love X"

A spokesperson for The X Factor commented: "Rita brought a great energy to the show last year and did a brilliant job mentoring the girls' category, leading Louisa to victory.

“We wish her all the best with her music and film plans for the rest of the year.”

Now Rita has been rumoured to take a spot on the BGT panel, although who could potentially be leaving from the current line up isn't clear.

Frankly Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams work so well together we think any unnecessary changes would be crazy.

But a source told the Daily Star newspaper today: “Rita loves working with Simon and BGT is a shorter show, which would potentially fit in with her schedule.”

Bookies Ladbrokes have now cut Rita's odds of appearing on BGT to evens.

Spokesperson for the bookmakers Alex Apati said: “If the bets we have taken over the last few days are anything to go by, we will be seeing Rita on BGT.

"We have slashed the odds to even money from 10-1.”

Nicole Scherzinger is reportedly been signed up to replace Rita although as yet no confirmation has been made.

The X Factor will air on ITV later this year while BGT continues Saturday nights.
