The X Factor 2016 is shaping up to see a major revamp from the judges to the hosts, here's a recap of what's been going on to get you up to speed...
Cheryl, Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora have all quit
Nick and Cheryl announced their exits earlier this year, while Rita confirmed her exit last month.
The newbie judge joined The X Factor from The Voice UK last year but wont be back this series.
She tweeted: "I had a ball on @TheXFactor last year and will miss the team."
And in a message to Simon Cowell, Rita added: "Can't wait to work with you again... I'll be round for dinner soon. Thank you for the experience & love X"
It all leaves Simon as only remaining judge from last year's panel.
Olly Murs and Caroline Flack won't be returning either
It's not just the judges that have been dropping like flies, both Caroline Flack and Olly Murs have left after their poorly received debut as presenter in 2015.
Instead, Dermot O'Leary is BACK to replace them
He's already begun filming the auditions for the new series in London and Manchester and says he's VERY excited to return.
And a trio of former judges are joining again
It's not just Dermot making a comeback: Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger and Sharon Osbourne have been confirmed as new judges.
Speaking of her return for a third stint, Sharon said: “I’m overjoyed about going back to The X Factor, sitting with Lou, Lou, gorgeous Nicole and naughty Simon."
Nicole added: "I can’t wait to be back in the UK and on the show with the best judges sitting alongside me on the panel."
And Louis said of his comeback: “He’d say otherwise but I knew Simon missed me last year!"
Meanwhile, there's a new Xtra Factor duo
There are yet more changes to come with Rochelle Humes and Melvin Odoom dropped from ITV2 spin-off the Xtra Factor.
ITV have confirmed that former finalist Rylan Clark-Neal would be hosting with Matt Edmondson.
Matt joked: "I am unbelievably excited about joining The Xtra Factor this year, not least of all because on my first day Louis Walsh walked into my dressing room topless, unannounced. I regard this as the definition of ‘living the dream’”.
The arenas are gone and the room auditions are back
Away from the stars of the show, the set is changing with arena auditions now gone completely in favour of the more intimate room auditions.
So when does The X Factor 2016 start?
The exact launch is yet to be confirmed but we can expect it to be on TV from around September time if not slightly earlier in August.
