X Factor's Mason Noise is preparing to release a debut single next month.
The singer made it into the Top 10 of last year's live shows despite originally storming off stage at the six chair challenge.
Mason was brought back by Boys' mentor Nick Grimshaw for judges' houses after another singer dropped out.
Now Mason is preparing to release a new track, teasing this week: "I've been in the studio a lot this year so I have a lot of material.
"My single is out in June with another one to follow in the winter."
He told the Daily Star newspaper of the debut record: "I don't want to give too much away but I'm really happy with it right now.
"I am going to stick to what I know and I know people are anticipating my music and want to hear it.
"I don't want the sound to be typical as then people will be disappointed."
And Mason, who says he still speaks with mentor Nick despite the DJ's own X Factor exit, has big plans for the music video.
"I want Idris Elba on my new video, the next video is going to be huge," he told the tabloid. "I think he is on the level that I want to go.
"We have the concept all planned out, if you watch my other videos you will know they are like a movie."
