X Factor judge Louis Walsh has branded Jedward "embarrassing" in a new interview.
The Irish music mogul says he regrets putting the twins - John and Edward Grimes - through to the live shows back in 2009.
In a chat with Woman’s Own magazine, Louis said the decision was the most embarrassing moment of his career.
"Working with Jedward and putting them through on The X Factor," he told the publication.
Louis, who used to manage the pair, added: “I’m definitely not in touch with them anymore.”
However the twins have since hit back at Louis in an interview with Goss.ie.
Edward said: “I think me and John out of anybody, we’re like survivors from negative press or bullying or ex-managers or anything.
“We are always striving forward, he’ll be in the old people’s home soon so it’s all good.”
Jedward finished sixth on The X Factor back in series six and despite their 'novelty' aspect have enjoyed one of the longest careers of acts who have come from the show.
The pair have released a number of albums, represented Ireland at Eurovision more than the one time and took part in Celebrity Big Brother.
Last year they appeared on ITV's Get Your Act Together ahead of work on a new album.
