The former finalist, who finished as runner up on The X Factor back in 2008 as part of JLS, reckons he would make for a great addition to the show having been through it all himself.
Speaking to BANG! Showbiz, JLS said of the free spots on this year's panel "Well I'm available if needed! Changes are exciting, there have been a lot of changes to the show to spice it up.
"Maybe one of the One Direction boys could do it, or maybe one of the JLS boys could do it! I know [my former bandmate] Oritsé Williams has always been into mentoring and managing and things like that. So if I had to pick someone other than myself then I'd pick Oritsé for it."
Former Strictly Come Dancing contestant JB went on: "I know exactly what the process entails as I've been through the process, to see the next generation of stars or future stars come through I'd love to be part of that process."
Regardless of whether or not he does end up on the show this year, JB is still loyal to the series that made him and reckons it won't be leaving our tellys any time soon.
"Unless something else comes along and replaces it as the biggest show of that format it can carry on for as long as Simon Cowell and the team want it to go on," he concluded.
