Sharon Osbourne has reportedly met Simon Cowell to talk a possible X Factor comeback.
Both Cheryl and Nick Grimshaw have already quit the judging panel for this year's show leaving Simon in need of at least two new panellists.
Rumours have suggested everyone from Louis Walsh to Robbie Williams, Nicole Scherzinger to Katy Perry.
According to The Sun newspaper, X Factor boss Simon this week met both Sharon and Louis to discuss the new series.
If Sharon does make a return it would be quite the U-turn having previously said she wouldn't want to go back again.
Sharon previously appeared as a judge in the first series until 2007 and then again for the tenth series in 2013.
“Simon and Sharon have feuded for years and always said they would not work for each other again," a source said today, "But Simon is willing to put the past behind them because he is convinced the chemistry of the original panel is needed."
The insider revealed: “He invited Louis and Sharon for dinner so he could see if it was still the same as before.
“Louis is determined for Sharon to take the job. He has made it a big part of his decision to come back and has urged Simon to persuade her.”
Others linked to the panel include US star Meghan Trainor and One Direction's Louis Tomlinson.
So far no judges have been confirmed for the new series although ITV have announced that Dermot O'Leary will replace Olly Murs and Caroline Flack as hosts.
The X Factor 2016 will start on TV in the autumn.
