Caroline Flack has said she WANTED to leave The X Factor this year.
The TV presenter has hit back at tabloid reports that claimed she was "bitter" over her exit from the show.
A source in The Sun newspaper had suggested today that Caroline was 'no longer talking' to former co-host Olly Murs and "seething" over the circumstances surrounding her departure from The X Factor.
However Caroline has since responded to the reports on her Twitter account, saying that she's not fallen out with Olly and she wanted to leave the show.
"I hate being made to make a comment on these things but I feel forced ....." Caroline wrote.
She told her 1.9 million followers: "I'm not bitter about X factor ...I have not fallen out with Olly , I wanted to leave , I had the best time...
"...I'm happy. Rested. Feel blessed and am looking forward to the rest of the year .... "
Caroline concluded: "Everything evolves and changes . Time to move on xx"
We say BRING ON LOVE ISLAND! Caroline will be back fronting the ITV2 show later this year.
