Rita Ora's future on The X Factor could be in doubt ahead of filming the auditions this summer.
As yet the singer's spot in the panel remains very much up in the air with no concrete rumours on whether she'll be back or not.
According to The Sun newspaper, Rita is due to stay put on the panel but the decision may be taken out of her hands.
The Hot Right Now hitmaker is currently filming for Fifty Shades of Grey's sequel, Fifty Shades Darker, and the scenes could prevent her from appearing on The X Factor.
The tabloid says that if the shoot keeps to schedule, Rita should be free by June but may be required later on in Canada for further filming.
A source explained: “Rita wants to come back and Simon wants her. But she needs to know when she will be free from her Fifty Shades commitments.
"She is prepared to juggle her music to judge but she can’t tell a Hollywood studio she can’t finish their film.
“Hopefully Rita will return. If not, X Factor bosses could have a last-minute headache.”
Missing judges on The X Factor is nothing new of course: A pregnant Dannii Minogue sat out all of the auditions back in 2010, prompting an array of guest stars in her place.
Right now ITV has yet to confirm any judges for this year's series although they have announced that Dermot O'Leary will be back hosting.
