X Factor's Christopher Maloney has found himself a new fanbase in JAPAN.
Christopher was filmed for the TV special last month and the programme aired on Japan's Fuji Television last month.
And apparently viewers over there LOVED IT.
“It’s crazy”, Chris revealed this week, “People are tweeting me to say my story moved them and they loved my voice, and they seem to want me to go over to Japan.
“A lot of the messages have been in English but I’m on Google trying to translate some of the stuff.”
The fly on the wall show looked back at Chris' time on The X Factor as well as his current work at his Theatre & Arts Academy in Liverpool.
"It’s just exploded," Chris told the Liverpool Echo. “I can’t believe I’ve got fans in Japan. It’s a big place!
“It was weird to relive how I was feeling [back on The X Factor], and the apprehensions beforehand. It brought back a lot of memories to delve back into the past."
Chris made it all the way to final of The X Factor back in 2012 but was beaten to the win by James Arthur.
