Rylan Clark is set to get his own Channel 5 chat show.
The former X Factor finalist turned TV presenter is set to front his very own programme in the evenings from May, Channel 5's director of programmes Ben Frow has revealed.
It's one of a series of new commissions from Channel 5 which has been enjoying some bumper ratings of late: Another addictive series of Celebrity Big Brother mixed with new formats like Lip Sync Battle and imports such as The X Files have seen numbers on the up.
The channel, which was sold to MTV owner Viacom in 2014, is also set to experiment with more drama and comedy within the next year, it's been reported by The Guardian.
News of his own show means that it could be a VERY busy year ahead for Rylan who will be back hosting Bit On The Side for Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother in the summer too.
And on top of that he's been eyeing up the currently vacant presenting spot on the show that saw him rise to fame, The X Factor.
Chatting on This Morning recently, where Rylan ALSO works, he said: "To be honest I've not being asked to do it... I swear I've not had a phone call asking me to do it."
But IF that phone call comes...
"Do you know what I come from X Factor, it's the show that I started on. I love the show... Yes of course I would go back there I've said it," Rylan continued. "But obviously I've got no intention of leaving my job at Big Brother."
