Talented Little Mix don't care about those who take aim at their 'sexy' image.
The girls, who last night played Brighton on their Get Weird Tour, say they wear what makes them comfortable and never try to be "scandalous"
Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall, and Perrie Edwards also quipped that they weren't always going to be able to look good in their sometimes rather skimpy stage outfits.
The fab four piece told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We wear what we feel comfortable in. We’re not overly sexy in what we do anyway. We go for sexy/cute. We’d never want to be scandalous.
"I think we’ve got the right kind of balance. Some of us are 24. We aren’t going to be able to wear stuff like this for the rest of our life, and parade around in little dresses and stuff."
Perrie went on to call on girls to support one another's confidence in what they wear, even if it is just a bikini.
“The way I see it, when I see Leigh-Anne in a bikini on holiday, I don’t think, ‘Oh God, Leigh-Anne, put it away’," she explained. "I look at her and think, ‘Yes girl, you’ve got one of the most insane figures I’ve ever seen. You f***ing rock that on the beach, because I would’.
"Girls should be like that."
Perrie added: “We need to encourage each other and if you don’t want to have your body out then you don’t have to. I never used to want to get my figure out, but now I’m like, ‘Yes, here it is’.”
