Rita Ora is proving to be one VERY in demand lady with a reported bidding war over her between The Voice UK and The X Factor.

The singer was originally a coach on The Voice UK last year but jumped ship to The X Factor after a LOT of persuading by boss Simon Cowell.

It was reported last week that Rita could be about to go back and quit The X Factor for The Voice UK when it moves to ITV in 2017.

The talent show will switch channels for its sixth series and it's understood that the format will undergo a major revamp.

However it sounds as though X Factor don't want to lose their new judge so quickly.

Speaking to The Sun, Rita said: "I hope they keep fighting over me, I don’t mind that at all. I don’t know what is going on but I like it.”

The 'Hot Right Now' hitmaker told the tabloid that she had yet to sign up for any show this year, explaining: “I haven’t made a decision.

"Because I’ve been focusing on recording my new album I haven’t started discussions over anything.”

Last Sunday the Daily Star newspaper claimed that producers of The Voice were keen to get Rita back for when the show moves to ITV.

A source told the tabloid “They were devastated when she moved to X Factor last year. But now it looks like she won’t be doing the next series, it means they’ve got a chance of poaching her.”

For now, a Rita-less The Voice UK continues on Saturday nights on BBC One with the new series of The X Factor on ITV later this year.
