The future is looking bright for X Factor's Kiera Weathers.
The talented 18-year-old went out far too early in this year's competition after leaving in Week 2 but it seems as though the St Helens lass is on course for great things.
The teenager has joined management company Esmé Amal and has big plans heading into 2016, including penning her own music.
“I had auditioned for The X Factor before and didn’t get through. This time it was my granddad who put me forward and didn’t tell me!" Kiera revealed this week. “The support I have in my hometown is mental and knowing I have that support from people, and from my family, means the world to me. It gives me the determination to work hard for what I want.”
Kiera says she hopes to take some time out to work on her music and go from "a singer into an artist."
“I’m going to start working on writing my own songs," she explained today. "It’s not something I’ve done before so I’m really keen to get into it. That’s one of my biggest goals at the minute."
Junior Masandi (formerly manager to Kiera's fellow X Factor contestant Josh Daniel) of Esmé Amal said: “I’m so pleased to welcome Kiera into the Esmé Amal family.
“Kiera’s determination is admirable. She knows what she wants, she’s hard-working and, above all else, incredibly talented. She deserves every success and we can’t wait to start working with her.”
Kiera, who was mentored by Rita Ora on the show this year, is also working with PR firm Team Midas’s Dean Maynard.
