Fleur East misses the top ten with her debut album

Last year's X Factor runner up Fleur East has failed to match Ben Haenow's position in the charts tonight.

Fleur this evening debuted in the Albums Top 40 with her record Love, Sax and Flashbacks at Number 14.

That compares to winner Ben's self-titled debut making the Top 10 last month, however Fleur did sell more copies than Ben in comparative first week sales.

The pair - both signed up by Simon Cowell to his Syco music label after last year's series - have a bit of chart rivalry going since both releasing music at the same time.

Earlier in the year, Fleur triumphed over Ben in the singles chart.

Her tune Sax went to Number 2 and remained in the Top 10 for weeks while Ben's single 2nd Hand Heart reached only Number 21, despite featuring guest vocals from Kelly Clarkson.

Both Fleur and Ben will be back on the live shows this weekend for the grand final, singing alongside fellow X Factor alumni Little Mix, One Direction and Leona Lewis.

They'll be joined by Adele and Coldplay on the live shows which begin at 8PM on ITV.
