The winner of The X Factor will be decided at Wembley Arena next month and a host of big stars are wanted for the live show.
One Direction are set to hit the stage for the second time this year for what will be their last performance before a break, ending things where they had all begun.
The Daily Mirror newspaper reports that Coldplay have also signed up to perform a song from their new album.
"Coldplay are a huge act, and this will be a key performance," a source told the newspaper. “They’ve collaborated with Beyonce, Noel Gallagher and even Chris’s ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow appears on the album. Who knows who they could bring as a surprise guest?"
But the highlight of the night could be Adele, if she agrees.
The Hello hitmaker previously said she was a fan of the show but would only sing at the final if the acts weren't "rubbish".
A source said today: “Adele would be a huge draw for the show and producers are desperate to snare her.
“She’s the biggest star in the world at the moment, and they’d love her to team up with one of the girls or Che.
“It would be a Beyonce-style moment for the contestant and would make great TV. But that’s down to Adele, it’s her call.”
For now, The X Factor is back this Saturday and Sunday night with guest performers Rita Ora and Carrie Underwood.
