The pressure will be on The X Factor finalists this series with double eliminations planned for almost every weekend.

Last week saw the surprise announcement that two would be going made only during the first results show with Alien Uncovered and Buspi Brown leaving at the end of the episode.

This time around and things have been made a lot more transparent with it being confirmed on Thursday that a further two will be going in this Sunday night's results.

Now The Sun newspaper reports that we'll get double eliminations for most of the remainder of the series, which isn't a surprise.

There are only the seven live shows this year, compared to the usual ten, while wild card act Monica Michael meant we had an extra contestant on the line up rather then the regular final 12.

There will be a double elimination each Sunday up until the quarter finals to leave the usual three acts fighting it out in the final live show, set to take place at Wembley Arena.

An insider said this weekend: “Getting rid of two singers each week keeps jeopardy levels high and enables the show to focus on the most talented singers sooner.”

Ahead of tonight's latest live performances, Kiera Weathers, Reggie n Bollie and Max Stone are the acts who look to be in trouble this weekend.
