Louisa Johnson has revealed how she failed to get through her first audition on Britain's Got Talent last year.
The 17-year-old had tried out for the ITV series but reckons she wasn't ready - and her performance was "boring".
She explained: "I didn't get past the first audition. I was too young. I wasn't ready and my audition was boring."
Louisa was then invited to try out for The X Factor, saying: "I was approached to audition but still had to go through the same process as every one."
Since her first performance on The X Factor, Louisa has gone on to impress at every stage of the contestant and is now the favourite to win in the live shows and getting recognised everywhere she goes.
"I went back to my school for a dance lesson the other day and a girl asked me for a selfie in the toilet, that was strange," the teenager explained.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Louisa went on to declare she was now "so ready" and doesn't think she'll find it too hard living away from home in The X Factor house.
"I'll miss my family but I don't think I'll struggle too much. I know I'm young but I feel so ready for this," she said.
Louisa also added of her boyfriend: "He's really proud and supportive of me. All my friends and family are excited."
The X Factor live shows begin this Saturday and Sunday night on ITV at 8PM.
