X Factor's Josh Daniel has revealed that he can't remember ANY of his original audition.
21-year-old car mechanic Josh performed for the panel last month, saying he would be singing his own spin on Labrinth's Jealous, dedicating it to a friend who had passed away.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini was left sobbing over the emotional performance, telling Josh: "That was the most captivating I've seen in all the auditions so far. You really touched me."
Simon Cowell meanwhile was left equally moved, shedding tears backstage after filming had wrapped up.
But Josh says he can't actually recall any of it: "I lost all record of what actually happened. I came off stage and it was just a complete blackout.
"I couldn't even remember how I sounded, everything was a massive blur. It was crazy but it was magical."
He continued: "It was quite hard to watch back, understandably, the stuff that happened with Simon at the end I hadn't actually seen.
"Everything I saw backstage, Simon getting emotional, I hadn't seen that until it was aired so I was kind watching it in real time, I didn't realise the extent how much emotional he had actually got."
This year wasn't Josh's first time on the show having got as far as bootcamp a few years ago before being sent home without even being seen on air.
The Billingham based singer went away to work on his performances and his first audition this time around has racked up over 20 MILLION views - and the reaction has left him nearly speechless.
"It's so, so crazy. I honestly never ever thought it would get to that stage," he told us. "The worldwide support has been absolutely amazing."
On Sunday we saw Josh sail through to the next stage of bootcamp where he'll be competing this Sunday for a spot at the six chair challenge.
The X Factor airs 7PM on ITV, September 27.
