At least that's according to Simon Cowell.
The X Factor boss says that Rita - who is openly demanding the girls category to mentor this year - is the show's "adorable" diva.
He said: “I really do like her. I like people who have an ego and want to do well, it makes them more interesting."
Simon, who previously branded Rita "ditz" following her dubious comments to acts, added to Heat magazine this week: “There is a side to Rita that I don’t think people have seen yet, which is funny.”
As for Rita's fellow newbie Nick Grimshaw, the Radio 1 DJ host seems to have become a bit of a novelty on the panel having been labelled as a strange choice by many when he was first announced.
The chatterbox has come out with all sorts when talking with the acts and has brought a more lighthearted approach to the judging.
A show insider told Heat magazine this week: "Simon thinks Grimmy defines the new sense of fun.
"He's like The X Factor's David Walliams figure - he can do or say anything, and he's been a blast at the auditions."
Reminds us of a young Louis Walsh...
Rita, Nick and Simon join Cheryl Fernandez-Versini on The X Factor 2015 this year with the show back on ITV soon.
