Rita Ora has denied picking The X Factor over The Voice UK for money.

The singer jumped ship from the BBC One series to its ITV rival in a deal reportedly worth as much as £1.5 million.

But Rita insists that money wasn't a factor and she always ALWAYS going to quit The Voice.

"This was about timing, I wouldn’t have been able to do The Voice again," she told the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper at the weekend.

When it came to which show she prefers, Rita denied ever claiming that The Voice was 'more credible' and instead diplomatically stated: “I’m enjoying X Factor just the same as The Voice.

"The exact same as both shows are trying to find real talent.”

Rita previously seemed to struggle to split the two reality shows, only able to differentiate between the furniture used on each.

She said on the red carpet during auditions at Wembley Arena last month: "It's two completely different shows, one's a panel, the other's a chair, it's two completely different worlds."
