The X Factor 2015 judges' houses will be aired LIVE, it has been confirmed.
It was reported previously this year that a plan for the penultimate stage of the competition to be broadcast live was being mooted.
The nail-biting climax to the audition process often sees plenty of emotions (who can forget THAT reaction from Rylan Clark?) as the judges reveal who they've chosen for the live shows.
"Cowell wants to increase the drama and tension of the moment contestants are told they’ve got through," a source said back in May of this year. “Judges houses has always been one of the most talked about and watched parts of the series, and one idea being discussed is to make these episodes live. It would be an exciting innovation and make for real event TV."
There were however concerns over the cost and logistics of airing judges' houses live with the panel often jetting all across the world to luxury locations.
But it seems they've worked it all out as new Xtra Factor host Rochelle Humes has confirmed it IS going ahead.
She teased: "There's a few changes, we can you let you into a little secret, we're going to go live from judges houses which we've never done before."
Rochelle added: "It's going to be a risk but it's going to be amazing."
For now, The X Factor 2015 continues filming auditions this week and will be back on TV next month on ITV.
