New X Factor 2015 judge Rita Ora and host Caroline Flack are to miss today's latest auditions.
The pair won't make try outs at Manchester's EventCity this afternoon for the second day of auditions in the city.
It's after the dates were moved when Monday and Tuesday's auditions were cancelled following the tragic death of Simon Cowell's mum at the weekend.
Rita will be in Paris while Caroline will be in Spain filming Love Island.
A source told the Daily Mirror that the filming's schedule change had resulted in an unavoidable diary clash.
“When the new dates were arranged, it was hoped [Rita] would get back in time for Thursday’s auditions. But logistically, it just can’t work," the insider explained. “Caroline has to jet off to Majorca to film Love Island, so Olly Murs, who she presents the show with, is going to have to host on his own.
"None of it is ideal but it’s unavoidable given the circumstances."
According to the tabloid there are some vague plans for a stand-in guest judge or bosses may just decide to continue with Simon, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Rita's fellow X Factor newbie Nick Grimshaw.
The source said: “The producers have been looking for a guest judge, with names including Tulisa being suggested, but there is a chance they may stick with three as it’s so last-minute.”
May we be the first to suggest a return for Louis Walsh?
The X Factor will be back on telly on ITV and ITV2 in the autumn.
