New X Factor judge Nick Grimshaw has promised to be "honest" but won't be "mean".
The radio DJ joins Rita Ora, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Simon Cowell on this year's new look panel.
Speaking about his new role, Nick said earlier this month: "I love X Factor and have watched the series religiously since it started, so obviously I’m hugely excited to be joining the show.
"Music is my job and my passion and I’m really looking forward to seeing what talent we can find and nurture this year. I can’t wait for Judges Houses in Oldham!”
The choice of Nick for The X Factor was met with quite a bit of hate - which he was quick to brush off - and this week the Radio 1 Breakfast host has said he can only be himself on the show.
He told the Metro newspaper: "My friends keep asking me what kind of judge I'll be. I guess I'm just going to be myself. I'm not going to go out of my way to be mean or nice.
"You've got to be honest, otherwise there is no point."
Nick added: "I feel really honoured to go to work. And I don't see it as work really. I've always wanted to do this."
Friday night saw all of The X Factor 2015 judges meet up in London to prepare for the new series.
An insider said: “It was the first time all four judges had been together and they all enjoyed a working dinner.”
The X Factor begins filming next month before its return to screens on ITV in August.
