It seems like Simon Cowell's not having much luck when it comes to signing up judges for The X Factor 2015.
The latest from the ever-changing rumour mill today is that he's been snubbed by both Rita Ora and Paloma Faith, and not for the first time.
It was reported yesterday that Simon and ITV were battling over Rita but it looks like they needn't have exerted the effort.
According to the Daily Star, the current coach on The Voice UK is set to turn down a spot on The X Factor for the second year in a row.
"Simon is desperate to get Rita or Paloma on to the judging panel but it looks like he will be doubly disappointed," a source said today.
They explained: “Rita’s second album has already been pushed back almost a year and she wants to concentrate on promoting her record, especially in the US where she is still trying to crack the market.
“She knows a permanent role on the X Factor will be too big a commitment back home and stop her international music ambitions.”
The Daily Star also claims that Paloma Faith has rejected the show as well, also for a second time.
"Paloma is worried the job would affect her credibility as an artist," a source said. “She has been very vocal about not wanting the role in the past and has admitted not even owning a TV."
As well as The X Factor Paloma previously turned down The Voice UK, having originally been set to take Rita's seat on the panel, saying that she "didn't believe in judgement".
The Only Love Can Hurt Like This hitmaker said last year: "I don’t like the idea of eliminating people because I don’t feel confident enough about my own abilities to judge any body else.”
So looks like it's back to the drawing board for Simon...
