X Factor's Stereo Kicks have slammed former mentor Louis Walsh, saying they're GLAD to have got away from him.
The eight piece boy band were put together by the judges at bootcamp last year and were mentored by Louis Walsh during the live shows.
The group managed to reach fifth place but reckon that Louis didn't "exactly help" them.
Stereo Kicks' Tom Mann, who has penned their new song Love Me So, said this week: "Louis is lovely but I don’t think he was right for us.
He recalled: "We had a bumpy ride because everyone was like, 'Are there too many, are there too many?'
"Obviously Louis didn't exactly help the situation by suggesting that a couple of us should be kicked out of the band."
Tom told The Sun newspaper: "I'd by lying if I said I wish we were still with Louis.
"If I'm honest then I'd say we're glad to be away from him."
Now the group are going it alone with new management company James Grant Music.
Their single Love Me So is available to pre-order now and has already reached the iTunes top 40 some two months before its currently scheduled release on June 21.
“Everyone has said that there’s an old-school vibe to it, a Nineties boy band feel. I hope it’s not too cheesy," Tom said of the track.
