Cheryl Cole has reportedly scooped a £500,000 pay rise to return to The X Factor 2015.
The former Girls Aloud singer is set to scoop a total of £2 MILLION for what will be her fifth series as a judge.
Recently remarried Cheryl Fernandez-Versini returned to the show last year alongside Simon Cowell, with the pair joining Louis Walsh and Mel B on a new look panel.
The Sun newspaper reports that Simon has been to keep Cheryl to draw in viewers, and the move leaves Louis and Mel's spots behind the judges' desk in doubt.
"Cheryl knew she was in an incredibly strong position because Simon was desperate to get her back," a source said today. “Mel and Louis almost certainly aren’t re-signing, but Simon knows Cheryl is a huge draw.
“Her last contract was pretty impressive, but she is thrilled with this one."
The insider added: “She loves the show anyway, but being given an extra half a million quid always helps. And as far as Simon is concerned it is money well spent.”
It was suggested yesterday that Tulisa was set to also return to the panel, having appeared alongside Cheryl and Simon during the live final last year as a temporary replacement for Mel.
Bookies Paddy Power were forced to stop bets after huge money was placed on the former N-Dubz star making a comeback to the ITV show.
A spokesperson for the bookmakers said: "We’ve a huge run on bets today out of the blue- smells to me like the line-up has been leaked. We’re battening down the hatches and pulling the market.”
On Thursday ITV confirmed that Olly Murs and Caroline Flack would be hosting the show this year following Dermot O'Leary's exit.
They added that news of the judges would follow "in due course".
