Dermot O'Leary has congratulated Olly Murs and Caroline Flack after they were confirmed as the new X Factor hosts.
Former Xtra Factor duo Olly and Caroline will take over from Dermot on the series this year.
And he was quick to wish the pair well, quipping: "Huge congrats to @ollyofficial and @carolineflack1 be gentle with the old girl...that's the show, not Louis."
Olly, who made The X Factor final in 2012, replied: "Aw love ya Brother!! me & @carolineflack1 will be on speed dial every weekend ringing ya.. Xx"
Caroline tweeted after the announcement yesterday evening: "Wow. Thank you for so many lovely messages . Beyond excited to be reunited with @ollyofficial on the X factor ... Let the madness begin....
"And the biggest shout out to my tv big brother @radioleary who has taught me everything I know (in telly that is ) He really is THE best x"
Simon Cowell said of the news yesterday: “I am absolutely delighted Caroline and Olly are both returning to The X Factor.
"When they were on Xtra together, they were a brilliant double act. Since then, Caroline’s gone from strength to strength – and Olly has become one of Britain’s biggest stars. So now I’m looking forward to them fronting the main show."
The X Factor will hit our screens on ITV later this year.
