Louis Walsh has suggested that his potential return to The X Factor panel this year hinges on Simon Cowell.
The Irish music mogul has been on the show for over a decade now and remains behind the judges desk despite saying quite a few times in the past he would be quitting.
Speaking about this year's twelfth series, Louis said his return would depend on whether or not Simon would be joining him.
"Nobody is hired yet for the next series," he revealed. "I have done 11 years.
"I would like to work with Simon again. You are not bored..."
Louis quipped: "Some day I will write a book about it!"
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Louis also spoke about last year's new judge Mel saying that he also hoped she would be back on the show.
However if the pair do reunite on the panel it could get awkward with Louis blasting Mel's "rough" looks.
He told the tabloid this week: "Mel is quite crazy. She used to arrive looking really rough but she looked like a diva at the end of it.
"She arrived in a onesie and she would drag the three kids behind her. But she tucked everything in. It took about three hours for her to look how she did."
He added: "The scaffolding went up and then she looked great..."
You're such a charmer, Louis!
The X Factor 2015 begins on ITV later this year.
