After a year working on his debut album, Jermain is set to release his first single How Will I Know on March 23.
It's the same release date as Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's new single Only Human as well as new track from former The Voice UK coach Jessie J, Masterpiece.
Jermain will also be releasing his self-titled debut album the same week as he tries to shake off the stigma of The Voice UK winners.
To date none have had much success with a grand total of just one top 40 hit - Andrea Begley's Number 30 smash, a cover of My Immortal - between them.
Jermain is the first male winner of the BBC One series and hopes that his album will sell.
“I think my music has the ability to appeal to people of all walks of life and ages, but I’m still a young man and I want my music to reflect that too," he said previously of the record, which he has co-written himself.
But his own coach Will.i.am has suggested that waiting so long to release music was one of the reasons that the show's acts haven't done as well as those from rival programmes.
"It’s hopeless to release a record so long after the series finished, especially in the attention deficit disorder society that we live in today," he claimed.
