Dermot O'Leary has backed Emma Willis to replace him on the X Factor.
That's assuming of course that he's not back hosting the show himself.
The hunky presenter insisted he had no plans to quit despite reports earlier this month but did admit this week: "If they turn around to me next month and say, 'We want a fresh face', then I'd say that I've had eight great years and I'll go and do something else."
If Dermot is given the heave-ho, he reckons CBB presenter Emma is the best name to take his spot.
"Emma is a good friend, and if I was ever not going to do the job, I couldn't think of anyone better to do it than her," he told BBC Newsbeat. "We always sit down in February, so we'll talk then.
Earlier this month, Paddy Power made Emma the favourite to take over from Dermot on The X Factor.
She was the 5/1 favourite to take his place, followed by Kim’s famous sister Khloe Kardashian who hosted the US version.
Paddy Power, a spokesperson for the bookmaker, said, “With Dermot hinting he’s done his last series, it looks like Emma’s going to be one with the X Factor come summer.”
