Fleur East is set to be signed by Simon Cowell regardless of tonight's X Factor 2014 results.
Fleur is in the final against Overs rival Ben Haenow after Andrea Faustini finished third in last night's first live show.
But whatever happens this evening, it seems that Fleur's set for a career in the music biz.
A source told the newspaper: “Simon made the decision to sign Fleur after last week’s semi-final. He would love her to be crowned champion but he will give her a record deal whatever happens.”
Simon said: "I’d have to say Fleur really has the potential to be huge if she was given material as good as Uptown Funk.
"I’ve never seen such a reaction to a song in my life. It was unbelievable. The original is fantastic but what she did with it is incredible. It was almost perfection."
He added: "She reminds me of what Janet Jackson used to do at the height of her career. She could sing and dance and put on a show and we haven’t seen anyone like that in a long time.”
Speaking about her plans after the show, Fleur said this weekend: “The dream is obviously to become an international star.
“That has always been my aim and now hopefully I can make that happen.
“I want to be like a modern-day Janet Jackson. I have so many ideas I just want to get started.”
This year's final airs this Saturday and Sunday on ITV, live from Wembley Arena, where the contestants will appear in front of an audience of thousands.
The shows will also feature guest performances from One Direction, Sam Smith and Olly Murs.
